A covering of snow this morning…….

….. just the perfect sort that squeaked when you stood on it.
The main roads are now clear but pavements and gardens are still covered with a white blanket.

In this cold spell the petrol seems to get used up very quickly. Before calling in at the garage I nipped along to the Heritage Park which was almost deserted at that early hour.

No sign of the geese but the gulls, mallards and swans ere sharing an area of water and a couple of channels fairly near to the bank. The seven youngsters are still all there and I don’t expect them to leave till early next year……they need some flying practice.
