Albert Street Uniting Church
I joined some choir members singing Handel’s Messiah at this beautiful church in Brisbane. It was a full day event. Rehearsed in the day and performed in the evening into the night. Full on and excited. By the time we took the train back to Gold Coast, it’s almost 11 pm.
The Albert Street Uniting Church is at the heart of Brisbane city. It was built between 1888 and 1889 in traditional Gothic style with polished timber interior ceilings. The organ was built by George Benson of Manchester, and was completed at Benson’s organ works by 22 July 1889.
