Cake done

Walk early and picked up paper, made eggy crumpets for breakfast. Did a food shop at a very busy Sainsburys and forgot to get tinfoil. Made the Christmas cake in the afternoon, went for another very cold walk with Hetty while it was in the oven. Always make a sampler, although don’t know why except hubby enjoys it. Made cobbler for dinner.
First Christmas card arrived in post.
