Sacrebleu

Tetra Con Brio

This bronze sculpture was designed for the Strathmore Hall Arts Center in Bethesda, MD.
It says that it's representing the transition from the formal method of the Sonata form to a more spontaneous approach closer to jazz.

I see more the spontaneous than the formal, but I like it just the same. Sitting outside on the terrace and enjoying the evening breeze after a hot day, a glass of wine and good company, that's the spontaneous I understand.
