Family tiff

Friend G from the UK has been in NZ for a holiday and arrived in the South Island today.  With no real opportunity to spend time having coffee or lunch before she left Picton heading for Kaikoura, I offered to pick her up and drive her there, then we could spend a couple of days catching up.  Beautiful sunny weather (she's had rain, rain and more rain most days up to this point) and a great opportunity to stop at a few places along the way.  These are Ohau Point seals just north of Kaikoura - no longer do they have their 'creche' pool following the Kaikoura earthquake.....now, mum's and babies gather on the shore below the new road.  Some dad's are around too and that can lead to the odd tiff......
