Strike

While waiting at the bus stop a man drove by to tell me that there was a bus strike happening today. Somehow missed that!

I was unable to book a taxi due to many people having the same surprise this morning. I had to resort to walking to work (which takes over an hour) as that was quicker than waiting for the next available taxi.

Fortunately a colleague called and gave me a lift. I booked a taxi immediately so I could get home after work.

I'll need to make sure my busses are actually running from now on!
