Snow

We woke to a smattering of snow this morning , and a temperature of -3degC.

Later in the day we went in to the hardware store in Holmfirth to buy some lagging for the outdoor pipes, but they had none in stock. After a supermarket shop we tried the hardware store in Honley, but they had none either. At some point we'll need to go to one of the big DIY stores to buy some, but neither of had the time or inclination to go today.

I like the way this photo illustrates the sloping nature of our front garden, and this is the least steep area. The section leading down to the road, beyond the wicket fence, is at a 45deg slope. Makes gardening an interesting experience!
