On frozen pond.

We had some snow overnight, but it is now thawing fast.
The main roads are clear but it is quite foggy.
No problem however driving to Halifax for our Click and Collect from Sainsbury’s.
We did a detour to visit the pond on the way home.
Most of it is still frozen but there was a patch at the far side where someone had cleared the ice, and about 20 ducks were gathered there.
No sign of the lone goose.
A family came to feed them just before I got back in the car.

I was pleased to see three new benches have been put up. Something there has never been before.
You can see one in my photo.
It will be lovely to have somewhere to sit for a change.
I just hope they don’t get vandalised.
