What's that then?

What it is, is a mini sound system of sorts - a bass driver and a couple of little speakers, in the trunk of my car. I've had it in my office for years - play my iPod through it. I've decided I can make better use of it at the house (I also have my eye on this nifty Bluetooth speaker for the office) so I brought it home today.
Now, I am someone who believes you should always have an up-to-date resume, a credit card with no balance, a valid passport, and no more personal stuff at work than you can take out in one trip. Don't know about anyone else but I'm always about one smart comment away from unemployment, and perhaps even deportation, so it was probably a good idea to get this thing out now!
Anyway, I expected someone in the office to make a comment about my "last day" as I carted the thing out. Didn't happen. However, K met me in the drive, saw the stereo, and immediately asked me if I had quit. How about that?
