The Kissing Trees
Near Kinghorn, Fife.
Apparently, the road to this spot was impassable yesterday but today there was no problem. Now, with most of the snow gone, the scene is not quite as attractive.
As testimony to yesterday's conditions, I did see a car on its side in a drainage ditch beside the road. It bore a sticker saying 'Police Aware' so didn't stop to check.
The more usual view of these trees is from the dip just ahead of this spot (with a wider ange lens setting). From there, the background trees are out of sight below the visual horizon resulting in a less cluttered composition. I have added it as an 'extra' for comparison but didn't make it my main blip because I have blipped this view before on more than one occasion.
