Ice

Our fountain in our mini pond also works in winter, so the birds have a place with water even when it's frosty. The splashing water creates beautiful, unique ice landscapes. As I was busy filling the pond with water again, I spotted Toni and Xaver trying to climb the icy wall. It was very hard for them and they slipped several times. They had a lot of fun and luckily were uninjured. But they never reached the summit. :-)

In the afternoon we visited M&C for a lovely advent celebration with their friends, family and neighbours. It was a nice meeting in the garden with  camp fires, moulded mulled wine, fun and perfect weather (cold but dry)
