Wrecking Ball

As I was walking to see my dad in the Royal I was intrigued to see a huge building being demolished next door. I actually think it’s the old Royal Hospital. A quick google tells me that wrecking balls haven’t really been used since the 1960s because oddly enough, a huge piece of metal swinging around on a long chain before colliding with god knows what is no longer deemed safe. But “Hydraulic Excavator” which is what I think this is, doesn’t quite have the same ring.
