GOLDCREST

We had a lot more snow through the night - see Extra for view from my bedroom window this morning.  No more snow during the day ... but no thawing either as its too cold.

Decided to stay at home today.  I did venture into the back garden to replenish the bird feeders and after I had done that I hung about with my camera waiting to see if any birds would appear.   This little one was the first.  I think its a Goldcrest - it has yellow feathers on the top of its head.  Took quite a few shots but it was moving around quickly so none of them were very clear.
