Getting Ready....

...for the sun! Headed to Palm Springs, California tomorrow midday to visit my friend and her husband for a few days. Quick trip - back Friday. Weather-wise I'll be missing a so-called "Pineapple Express" which will leave a huge amount of rain over the next few days....almost 3" is forecast. I'll be posting photos of palm trees ;-)

I planted these lovely white pansies in a hanging basket near my front door. With a bit of luck, they should last all winter! 

A busy day of sorting, packing, etc, etc. It always takes so much to go away doesn't it?
