Revisited the RGB exhibit
Particularly poignant after Sandra Day O’Connor died recently.
I revisited the exhibit and then looked at the rest of the museum. She was a brilliant and good woman and we are lucky we had her.
Pussy Riot is touring the US with a new song that borrows from Swan Lake, a song that signals official censorship to Russians as it is used when Soviet leaders die and during the Gorbachev coup. The song is a protest against Russian propaganda.
November 27 there was a storm that damaged some Russian military installations. In particular, it broke open the pens holding the Russian military dolphins in Crimea's Sevastopol harbor. Yep, dolphins. Russia and the US both use dolphins for our military (!!!?). The US has been using them for decades. In the Black Sea Russia has been using dolphins to deter special forces divers attempting to make landfall. Ukrainian resistance forces blew up a gas station used by Russian occupation forces to refuel military equipment in Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia Oblast on Dec. 1, The explosion damaged military equipment.
