The early bird!

The morning was dry and very chilly but this afternoon there is a real dampness that just seeps into your bones. Just a few patches of snow remaining now …… the conditions are thoroughly unpleasant.

I’ve had workmen here since 8am doing a great job of restoring my hot water system. They’ve been out and in the back door many times so I was able to scratch this Coal Tit as he came in for breakfast. Not a feathered friend to be seen this afternoon.

Once the guys are finished there will be plenty of tidying up to do as well as getting used to my new induction hob ……. now living in a gas free home.
