Estació del Nord

Isn't this gorgeous? It's the wonderfully flamboyant railway station. It's an example of Valencian Art Nouveau. It opened in 1917 and is a listed building, inside there is the most delightful tiling.

We went into town for breakfast and then metro & tram to the beach. A nice walk along the front, some lunch and then a stroll around the harbour before a bus to the science museum, Jemma hadn't had chance for a mooch around there. 

I'm back at the hotel now, Jemma has gone to meet up with her running buddies for ice cream. Out this evening for food and we're away to the airport in the morning.
