Deeply dark and depressing

Steady rain. It hardly made daylight today.

I was quite busy sorting things, cleaning - and, I’m afraid, reading.

As I sat looking out into the green, I noticed a solitary collared dove just sitting on top of the feeders. Intriguing……. Whatever was going through his mind……
