The Graduate

D was prevented from attending his university graduation 40 years ago by a severe case of Shigella dysentery picked up on his travels. So here he is, making up for it by graduating from Dumfries & Galloway College with an HNC in Art and Design. A surprisingly emotional ceremony in the Crichton Church was followed by refreshments in the Easterbrook Hall. We're all proud of you, chavdad!

In the afternoon, we picked up Joe and all the young people went climbing for a couple of hours at Bouldover. Then we went to buy some puppy stuff at the Canine Rescue charity shop.

We finally stopped at Tesco for a food shop - I am not cooking the tea tonight - it will be a lovely surprise :-)
