Not all the apples have fallen off the tree and this one has been nibbled at by a Fieldfare.  Its interesting to watch the birds eating the apples, mainly Blackbirds who are always chasing each other away from them even though there's plenty to go around.  The Fieldfare is also quite territorial and chases the Blackbirds away.  I've been spreading the apples around the garden so they are not all in one place.

Not long after I took this shot the rain arrived so farewell to the frost!
