Defiant

Squirrel has discovered the fat balls. He returns every day and gets more ingenious and brave every time.

Today he even had the cheek to poke his tongue out at me  (see the extra). How rude!

I watched his antics for around 10 minutes. He stretches across from the branch and hangs upside down to reach the bounty.

He made an error of judgement today and knocked the holder onto the ground. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't work out where it had gone for a while. he looked all around, clearly puzzled. eventually he found it but didn't seem to happy about it being down there. So he left. I am sure he will be back.
