Seattle Vacation: Last day …

… departures.

As we have an early morning flight home we were up and out of the hotel at a blurry eyed 6:00 am.  We needed to factor in the travel time to the airport plus returning the car rental.  But everything went smoothly at the rental return and through security and we were at our gate by 7:30ish for our 9:00 am flight.

Thankfully the flight was on time and incident free.  We were back on the East coast and soon on our way home to our kitties.  And they were oh so glad to see us!  And we were glad to be home with them!

Speaking of kitties … the cat here was seen at our gate at the Seattle airport.  I only hope everything went as smoothly for this kitty as it did for us.   The Extra is of the New York City skyline as we approached Newark (NJ) airport.

We really had a wonderful vacation and I had a fantastic 60th birthday while we were gone … but it’s always good to be home. 

And now for my vacation wrap up … by the numbers:
Miles driven (including to and from Newark Airport): 729 … low by our standards.
Photos taken (including smartphone & camera): 3,134
Money spent:  Too much … but well worth it!
