Wasted day

So car packed and ready to leave by ten, planned a day to visit a National Trust property and reach the holiday let by four.
Jeep didn’t work, lots of red lights and messages and no engine noise. AA app seemed really good and told us they would be with us by 12. Every time I checked the app the time changed and they finally pulled up at around six. I called the housekeeper for the property to let her know we wouldn’t be there today.
New battery was expensive but fitted on the drive and stuff reset so all the lights were back to normal.
So decided to put a few Christmas decorations out.
Felt frustrated and then realised that we were in a warm comfortable place whereas some would be sat in a cold car or stood on the hard shoulder of a motorway.
