Six stone statues

Another gym morning, and a trip to the Mosque after lunch to get my 5th covid and flu jag. The weather was dreadful so I took the bus part way there. I walked back through Lauriston and the New Gorbals passing the currently closed Citizens Theatre. I hadn’t realised that the fine statues have been reinstated peering over the new houses across the road. They celebrate four Greek goddesses of the arts alongside Robert Burns and Shakespeare.

I’ve just cancelled a walk for Wednesday which hasn’t gone down terribly well. Tough, it’s madness to be slithering around the hills above Milngavie even if the sun is shining. In fact the sunshine can make it even more treacherous.

So far my arm is reasonably comfortable, I went for both in one arm so I can sleep on my side.
