Not a day to be out

....unless you were walking a dog, or on the ferry (reversing very slowly out of Newhaven).....or me, of course, needing a blip on the way back from yoga.
A lovely aroma greeted me as R was making the Christmas cake ( he always leaves it this late then constantly feeds it brandy :))).
I made mince pies and sorted out some presents and cards as we have had my brother and sister-in-law here this afternoon, visiting from Mallorca en route for South America (for a Christmas adventure).
