Lots of Christmas bits!

This morning I went to Pilates and our usual group had coffee after. 
Such a dismal day…chilly and drizzly.

At lunchtime I went to a local pub to meet up with a group of ex colleagues, most have now been retired for on average 10 years! Lots of talk of latest ills plus those of partners which is not so cheerful. Some have grand children who are applying for university!

We picked up our six year old  grandchildren from school as usual and they spent some time writing Christmas cards to every child in their respective classes . 
All the Christmas decorations are now up in their house and the photo was taken in front of their fireplace. The musical animals we bought last Monday plus things from previous years. They have an advent calendar each ( one traditional and one ‘Where’s Wally) and also one little stocking for each day which has two goodies in it. They are remarkably self controlled as they know they can not have their chocolates until tea is finished and their reading has been done. I think many children will open and eat at breakfast time!
