Re-enactment

In the 4 days Jen was home rather more food than strictly necessary was bought so I have been having a bit of a meat-fest to get it all eaten before it goes off. The final piece was a sirloin steak with some asparagus (British as it is now in season) garlic mash and a sauce made with girolles, pancetta and cream. It was very nice and I was very full afterwards :)

Missing Jen already and the house feels too big despite the mess. Playing too much FIFA and drinking too much wine to compensate.
