Saltimbocca alla Romana

Saltimbocca alla Romana (veal scallopini with prosciutto and sage), sautéed mushrooms with radish greens, and mahon cheese with tarragon, pepper, and olive oil. Wine: Monteci Rondinella Veneto 2020.

Saltimbocca is a favorite of ours, but I don't often find good veal, so it is an especial treat when we have it. This wine is bizarre. It tastes like tea flavored with red currants (not bad, but very strange).
