Erin

My folks were in Warwickshire, visiting their very good friends for the weekend. I was invited up on the Sunday to surprise Dad for Fathers' Day. He had no idea and that was despite Erin's mum asking if I'd arrived yet, and despite Erin's grand-dad mentioning my name in proceedings, earlier in the day. (I always knew he suffered from selective hearing!) He was delighted and it was a great afternoon of noise and laughter, food and drink, catching up with them - many years after the New Years and weekends away, we spent with them as we grew up.
