Homeward bound

Now heading out to sea after a really wonderful stay at my sister's. She & J looked after us really well - interesting outings, lovely meals and lots of chat .

It was also nice to see R, my nephew, who is turning into a fine young man. 

We left late morning and made our way to Ijmuiden in time for lunch - soup & and a (shared toastie). It was French onion this ra time rather than the ubiquitous pumpkin but also very tasty. 

We're treating ourselves to dinner in the bistro restaurant tonight and will enjoy an aperitif in our cabin before that.
