Petworth House

After seeing the film Napoleon yesterday and finding that several scenes were shot at this local National Trust property my daughter and I visited it today. We also enjoyed seeing their Christmas displays and it’s always a thrill to see Holbein’s portrait of Henry VIII and Grinling Gibbons superb carvings.
