Tuesday: Blue Sky
Temperature hovering under 7°C for most of the day, gentle breeze which didn’t feel as cold as last few days and some sunshine :-))
Cooked up a big pan of chilli con carne for MrD (with plenty to freeze).
Gathered fallen leaves on the steps (from the twisted hazel) and spread them under the bird feeders, lots more birds visiting today - goldfinch, bluetits, green finch, sparrows, dunnock, with blackbirds and robin nearby.
MrD collected 3 large trugs of sycamore leaves from the path around the shed - these will be used in the compost bins in between layers of cardboard and other compostables to keep our healthy population of worms busy during the colder winter months.
Hedgehogs still munching on their kitten biscuits around 6pm this evening and another wandering around under the maple.
Love and hugs to all my family XXXX XXX XX
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
