Tiny Tuesday - Sony RX 100 exploration

I have now reached the crucial element in the examining my defunct Sony rx100 . This is the image sensor and though the circuitry looks complex it is amazingly straight-forward when you consider the millions of colours that the sensor can capture. I have always thought that the Sony rx100 series has always had a brilliant sensor in terms of the quality of the images it captures and the amount of pixel power it offers often outshining  a lot of its SLR competitors. This is the bit of kit which gives unlimited shooting options and the freedom from film capture which used to cost us so much.
