Cider with Roadies

Derby Book Festival, which I previously believed to be a summer thing, now comes in instalments.  Like Dickens. 

First up, Nina Stibbe.  What an interesting, charismatic, witty woman.  I must read one of her books.  

Then one of my oldest (or longest) imaginary boyfriends, Stuart Maconie.   I've definitely read one of his books.  

I met a girl(!) of a similar generation to me in the queue.  We had a chat and I told her Stuart was one of my imaginary bfs, although we drifted apart for a while during the Garvey years (Guy not Marcus).  She burst out laughing and told me she has a sign in her kitchen saying 'If you can't find me, I'm out with Stu and Guy'.
