Something New

The Story

When i signed up to this site it was an intention of mine to submit some daily photographs of which were worthy of any positive or negative feedback from other users of the site. Unfortunately though i've found most of the submissions to be more of a blog type with no major importance (take this photograph for example). I mean, the creativity in the shot is not there. There is nothing worth commenting on, and it doesn't surprise me to see little interest in some of my blips. I plan on changing the way i treat this website as believe it or not i'm actually really keen on getting good advice from other photographers on the site in order to improve the overall standard of my work and hopefully allow you all something better to look at over time.

The Plan

Now, if you're still reading this then cool. Whenever you see a blip of mine from now on rather than typing a load of crappy pointless uninteresting crap I'll just scrap that and let you all know the shutter speed of the photograph plus the exposure and generally the camera equipment used. At the moment i've just got the one SLR Digital Camera and lens, although over time hopefully this will all change and improve.

Ratings

Up until today i've always allowed you the chance to give my blips ratings. From now on, i'm only going to enable Ratings on the blips i'd like to see rated as every now and then i upload a load of shite i'm aware of and don't expect to have rated. I think this is a good way to let whoever know that if you see the ratings option then i'd appreciate any sort of rating you can give the blip. Preferably keeping it as honest as possible, so if the blip is crap then rate it 1 or 2, if you genuinely like the blip then 3, 4 or 5 would easily do.

Now...

It's nearly half past one in the morning here and i've got a couple of things i need to finish before i head to the college in 6 and a half hours, so i better head off. Thank you to everyone who views this and helps me out in the future. I will always appreciate it.
