Arisamea speciosum

I blipped this a four days ago as it was just starting to bloom, the leaf then was still curled up.  A pretty and unusual flower.

Another quiet day, the weather rather nice.  I spent the morning in the garden, deheading roses and cutting back other things that were starting to look tatty.

My Wellington family are now in Hanoi, a bit of a culture shock for the teenagers perhaps.....the photos show they are having a fabulous time.
