At last - mum and baby doing well!!

We've waited so long for this happy event!
Mum built a nest on a tiny strip of grass between the river and the path.
She sat and sat.
We all waited and waited.
Nest abandoned and two eggs pushed out.
She immediately built another nest and sat and sat.
We waited and waited.
And today here's what we've all been waiting for!
She's still sitting on two eggs so there's possibly more excitement to come ...
