Laughter in song....

This morning I went with a colleague to supervise one of our training sessions. We train Management Parent Committees in how to run their Community Based Childcare Centres (CBCC's) in the rural areas. The training today was with 3 committees and I was pleased to see many women among them. Usually its men on the committees here!

The literacy level of all of these committees was primary school level but they had a good level of understanding so I hope that their CBCC's will do well in the future. In our training we use a lot of songs as this is an oral culture and songs are used in teaching. Here you can see some of the ladies (and one baby on the back) really enjoying one of the songs which is about parents sending their children to the early childhood centres!
