Off to a good start

I spotted blipper yeeeeed's post at just the right time for Sarah and Roger visiting Knaresborough. I met them almost off the train (I was waylaid by a few minutes taking sunset photos but did catch their train after it had just dropped them off (extra)!)  and we spent the next hour enjoying the festive transformation of the church. There's a fabulous animated bell tower inside and we chatted to the man who built it who had people in common with Sarah - one of those small world moments.  We followed that with a walk in the Christmas lights up to the castle and a drink and a natter before I headed home and left them to their trip.
