Sparkling.....

This Decoration was in the town centre when I was there this afternoon, it brightened the centre up a bit.

We had a talk this morning about children of World War 2.    The gentleman had been evacuated to Ontario, Canada, in 1939, and he had some great stories of the privations, but also the fun, he had as he was there with an aunt for 4 years.  He is now over ninety, but sharp as a tack.  Bob did the vote of thanks, as he has known him for about thirty years in the Speakers' Club.

Shopping in the afternoon, just about done although I do need to go to the post office tomorrow!  Also did som present wrapping later so all good.
