Another Frosty Morning

It was an early run to the shop this morning ....... with frost and fog - although the fog was low lying and looking up from the front door I was able to see the moon more clearly than the street lights (extras).

After breakfast, I headed off to collect a donation from Broxburn.
Dropping down the hill to the bridge above the Almond the fog got really thick, but thinned out and cleared completely as I climbed up the other side of the valley. The view in the mirrors was spectacular, but obviously I wasn't able to stop and get a picture.
On the way home, going down the hill I was able to see almost nothing due to the sun and the wipers being frozen (again). So much for -10C capabilities of the screen-wash.

Because of the windscreen problems SWMBO and I headed off in search of ... a) a small hand-sprayer and b) some better screen-wash. We bough both and hopefully the  -20C capabilities will actually work.

After that we headed up to The Larder's head office for a get together with the other one of the bosses, most of the other volunteers and a one of the chefs..... he got loads of compliments for the snacks that were laid on (the haggis bon-bons and the cinnamon swirls were particular favourites)
Next year funding for the 'company' will be cut by something like £40,000 so there will be a fair amount restructuring. We can only wait and see what happens and if the aims and aspirations work out.
