Frosted

A bright day, with frost first thing. Went for a walk in Thetford Forest, starting from Brandon Country Park - & there the frost, together with a layer of mist, lasted all day. The low sun picking out details within the forest & through the mist really enhanced the walk. There was plenty of bracken along the route, but the subject of the main Blip was really spectacular when lit by a shaft of sunlight coming through the conifers. The extras show the beeches which line the entrance to the Country Park, with the sunlight filtering through the mist, and also some broom. The latter isn't sunlit, but I love the shapes it makes when it's frosted!!
