Nearly a baby blanket

I've been crocheting strips in different stitches to sew together to make a baby blanket.  I had the idea to make a few blankets so I'd have one ready for the nieces and nephews who keep producing.  But 2 babies in 6 weeks.   I'm having trouble keeping up.
