Moist Morning Magic
There was very little useable light again today - it's almost as if the Sun wasn't really bothered... anyone would think we were two weeks from the solstice! Ah... that'll be it then.
We went for a walk in Westonbirt Arboretum. At least you can walk without losing boots in the mud; even the once tarmac'd roads around here are becoming treacherous, mud covered tracks with potholes under every puddle... the field paths are... interesting.
The deciduous trees are bare now, but at least there is shelter from the quite penetrating wind today, and down in the rotting stump a small family of fungi are having a private gathering.
No doubt there will be an inquiry later...
