If Life Gives You Lemons…

Luscious lemons growing in pots outside my favorite little market shop just a block away from our home - 3rd St Market. The owner is from California and is very friendly. They bake their own sourdough bread on site, which we occasionally buy when David doesn’t have time to make his own. I can also buy good quality milk from them to make our own Kefir. And they sell gorgeous eggs from a local farmer. I only wish they would sell some local farm vegetables! They do make some delicious healthy soups and sandwiches though. A very useful downtown store!

The life lemons we got were in the form of a disappointing cancellation of my brother’s eagerly anticipated visit from the UK, due to visa denial- probably due to the fact that he was born in Brazil.
