Female Blackbird...

At last a bird has come to visit me in my garden, just as I was about to take the washing out to hang on the line it stood in front of me.
I went back inside to get my camera and then went out again.. he was quite bold and let me walk right up to him where he perched on the gate..
I was not sure what bird this was but have been reliably informed that it is a female blackbird and not a Dummock which I thought it could be but of course she is much too large...

I have spent the day with a really good friend, between us we have decided how best to 'dress' the house to hopefully obtain a quick sale for a good price..

Tomorrow I start to declutter in earnest...
