Baboons!

This little stone sculpture has been on our sideboard for many years and is almost part of the furniture, and I have never really looked at before!
The baby baboon on the back of his (?) mother is holding a soldier in quite a friendly way, but what amazed me was the relative size of the animal and the human. It was good to think that we never got out of our vehicle - car or Land Rover- when we saw them in reality in Uganda!
