Filled Hole

Last night coming back from a council meeting one of the councillors remarked.
'How can you as mayor of Bakewell look out of your window and see this big hole in the road and say nothing'.
I have to admit I hadn't really noticed it as being a non driver etc. etc. excuses, excuses.
Anyway Lo and Behold today it is all covered up albeit not too aesthetically but insurance safe.
I may even take the credit for it and say I made a quick phone call to the powers that be and it got sorted.
But I'd be a liar if I said I'd done that....
Anyway job done and we now have a newly covered hole in the road and the view from my window now has a newly bodged up filled hole...
