Vegetarian Soup

Bridge was at my house today. I made vegetable soup with tofu and served toast made from Costco’s cranberry walnut bread. Fran brought fruitcake. Normally I would not be happy about that, but this was bourbon fruitcake and it was delicious.

Bridge was fun because we had lots of hands with unusual distribution. We don’t score so the fact that there were many set contracts didn’t phase us.

In the evening Shelly and I joined Stu and Judy and a theater full of people to see a show called “The Game’s Afoot” put on by the Theatre Guild. It was very funny with lots of physical humor. We laughed a lot. As usual I’m so impressed with the talent here in Bellingham.
