Roadside cross

Cornwall is littered with these roadside crosses of varying antiquity. This  Medieval cross at Boskenna Gate is a good example right by the sdie of the road.
Today's stroll was meant to be down to the cove at St. Loy but a set of stepping stones just before the shore rather defeated Tricia with what is probably  usually a rather quiet stream becoming closer to a torrent.
